Students from Classes 6 to 9 Unanimously Elect Committee Members
Banganga, February 26, 2026 – Another significant milestone has been added to the history of Bhupu Sainik School. Following the successful conclusion of BPSS MUN 1.0, the school has officially established the BPSS MUN Club.
An assembly of students from Classes 6 to 9 unanimously elected a 13-member MUN Club Committee on February 25. This club will lead and manage next year MUN-related activities and events at the school.

Historical Background:
Earlier, from February 17 to 19, 45 students from Classes 6 to 9 had participated in BPSS MUN 1.0. Students showcased excellent debating skills, diplomatic abilities, and leadership qualities in two committees:
UNEP (United Nations Environment Program): Agenda – Waste Management and Recycling
UNSC (United Nations Security Council): Agenda – Peace Building for Sustainable Future
Following this success, the MUN Club has now been formally established to institutionalize these learning experiences.
Objectives of the Club:
BPSS MUN Club aims to develop the following skills among students:
1. Leadership skill development
Enhancement of public speaking abilities
Knowledge of diplomacy and international affairs
Research and position paper writing practice
Awareness about global issues
Team collaboration and management skills
